Are all paintings original?

Yes. Every painting available through IVR Fine Art is an original work of art, painted individually by hand by IVRooden. Unless specifically stated otherwise, the paintings are not prints or reproductions.

What materials are used?

Our original paintings are created using artist-quality oil paints on stretched canvas. The exact materials, dimensions and finishing details can be found on each artwork’s product page.

Are the paintings signed?

Yes. Original paintings are signed by IVRooden.

Will my painting look exactly like the photographs?

We photograph each painting as carefully and naturally as possible so you can get a true impression of the artwork. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen and lighting.

One of the lovely things about an original oil painting is seeing it in person — the texture, brushwork and subtle variations in colour can be even more beautiful than they appear on a screen.

Are the paintings framed?

Unless otherwise stated on the individual artwork page, our paintings are sold unframed.

Please check the product details before purchasing, as framing and edge finishes may vary between artworks.

How do I know the size of a painting?

The dimensions are listed on every artwork page in centimetres and, where applicable, inches.

Please check the measurements carefully before ordering so you can picture how the artwork will look in your chosen space.

Can I buy a painting as a gift?

Absolutely. An original painting can make a wonderfully personal gift for a birthday, wedding, anniversary, housewarming or another special occasion.

How is my painting packaged?

Every original painting is carefully wrapped and protected before shipping. We take extra care when preparing artwork for its journey so that it arrives safely at its new home.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. IVR Fine Art welcomes collectors from both within and outside the Netherlands.

Available shipping destinations and shipping costs are shown during checkout.

For international orders, customs duties, import VAT or other local charges may apply depending on the destination country. These charges, where applicable, are the responsibility of the recipient.

Will I receive tracking information?

Where tracked shipping is included with your chosen delivery service, you will receive tracking information once your painting has been prepared and dispatched.

How long does shipping take?

Delivery times depend on your destination and the shipping service used. Once your order has been prepared and shipped, you will receive the relevant delivery information.

International deliveries may occasionally take longer due to customs processing.

Can I return an original painting?

We hope you will love your new artwork, but if something isn’t quite right, please refer to our Returns & Refund Policy for the applicable return conditions and instructions.

If your painting arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and include photographs of both the artwork and packaging so we can help.

Do you accept commissions?

If you have something special in mind, you are welcome to get in touch to ask about current commission availability.

Please include a little information about what you are looking for, such as the subject, preferred size and any inspiration you may have.

Can I reserve an artwork?

Original paintings are one of a kind, so once an artwork has been sold, that exact piece will no longer be available.

If you have a question about a particular painting before purchasing, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

How should I care for my oil painting?

Keep your painting away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive moisture and significant changes in temperature. Avoid touching the painted surface and never use household cleaning products on the artwork.

For light dusting, use a clean, very soft and dry brush without applying pressure to the surface.
